Harvia Premium VS is a good choice for a cottage sauna, as it has a fair-sized water container (30 l) by the side of the stove. Water heats up at the same time as the stove warms the sauna ready for bathing. Water faucet is in the front and it is possible to change the handedness of the water container.
The outer casing of the stove is stainless steel. The adjustable legs make the stove easy to place in the sauna. Through the cast-iron glass door the warm glow of the fire adds to the sauna atmosphere. The sturdy 10 mm fire space cover ensure durability.
The recommended size of the sauna room is 8–20 m3 and the maximum amount of stones is 40 kg.
The fire chamber of Harvia Premium stoves has a modern grate structure that divides the combustion air. Part of the air is led to the upper part of the fire chamber. This way the burning is more efficient and cleaner.
The combustion air channels rest on the grate's gaps. You can regulate the air flow by adjusting the channels.
A) The best burning efficiency, the least emissions, the least strain on the stove, the longest heat-up time.
B) Shorter heat-up time, requires more wood and causes more emissions.
C) The shortest heat-up time, requires the largest amount of wood and generates the most emissions (combustion air channels removed).
